Playa Del Ingles is a very popular location in Gran Canaria for your holiday with lively nightlife, or a quiet restaurant over looking the ocean. Close to Maspalomas, Playa del Ingles offers a top beach and a host of other attractions and amenities. You'll find plenty of shopping options throughout the resort, as well as some great places to have a drink and a tasty mea. The Weather in Playa del Ingles is sunny all year round with lots of places of interest for the young and the old. The resortattracts the younger British crowd in the high season, who are attracted to the resort by the vibrant nightlife. Playa Del Ingles is the second largest resort in Europe map, Benidorm being the first. Sioux City is a great night out for all the family! It is Gran Canaria´s own western theme park where you can stick on your stetson and walk in the footsteps of cowboys long gone.

Playa del Ingles boasts a lively evening and night time scene with lots of English, Irish and Scandinavian bars and restaurants. There are even a lot of Spanish ones! You can't fail to enjoy an evening anywhere within a few minutes of the flat.

During the summer holiday period of July and August, Playa del Ingles is very much the ideal place for "young fun" or "18-30" style holidays. Known for its beach and nightlife, it proves ideal for the younger crowd during the summer.
For the rest of the year it proves popular with everyone, all ages and all nationalities. The mix of people is mainly made up of German and English but the mix of Scandinavian, Dutch and other European nationalities is very much present too. Playa del Ingles is between two smaller resorts, Maspalomas and San Agustin. Together, they share the same beach 8km long and more than 3km wide in places. Unlike Puerto Rico, there's no mountains to conquer in Playa del Ingles.

There is a fine choice of shops in Playa del Ingles where visitors can indulge in some duty free delights, including cheap electrical shops and stalls selling imitation designer wear and African curios. The shopping is mainly confined to the dozen or so Commercial Centres rather than spread out along the roads and each centre has its own distinctive character.
There is a wide choice of places to eat in Playa del Ingles, from fast food (including McDonalds), Chinese, Italian and local cuisine, and rows of restaurants offeing international cuisine. For those who have had enough of the beach there is loads of entertainment and activities for all ages, including amusement arcades, mini-golf, tennis, golf, scuba diving, skydiving, water parks, go-carting, horse riding and camel riding. Water sports in Playa del Ingles include jet-skiing, windsurfing & banana rides.

Bordered by the beaches of San Agustín in the east and Maspalomas in the west, the 2.7 kilometre long Playa del Inglés lays claim to being one of the most famous beaches in Europe.
